Are You Prepared

We recently completed a WIMBOARD Mentoring Programme at Women In Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ).

This is a 4-month program that prepares women to serve on boards of local and international organizations, bringing their strategic thinking and expertise to the table.

Although the program may have been rigorous for the participants, they are now fully equipped and trained for the opportunities they want to get.

Often times, the reason we miss opportunities is a lack of preparation and proper training.

This happens when we decide to procrastinate the actions that are critical to our success.

Here is my question for you.

• Are you prepared for places you want to be in?

• What steps or training are you taking to be qualified for relevant positions?

Remember, every step you take, regardless of how 'small' it might be, pushes you closer to your dreams.
