Last week, I had an incredibly rewarding experience at the WIMBIZ Big Sister Program in Lagos (more states to follow soon). I believe our Big Sister volunteers can resonate with this sentiment.

In today’s society, many equate happiness with success, wealth, and recognition. However, genuine fulfillment arises not from what we acquire, but from what we offer to others.
Living a life that makes a difference—helping those in need without any expectation of return—truly cultivates lasting joy.
Real happiness is found in our willingness to assist others, particularly those who may not be able to repay our kindness.
Whether it’s providing financial support, dedicating our time, lending an ear, or offering encouragement, we all possess something valuable to share.
You don’t have to be wealthy or famous to create an impact; even the smallest gesture of kindness can transform someone’s life.
Have you ever considered why billionaires often give back to their communities in significant ways?
They recognize that the true measure of success lies in the positive influence they have on the world, rather than the riches they amass.
You always have something to contribute. Regardless of your situation, you always have something to offer.
You might not have millions, but you can share your time, ideas, emotional support, or simply lend a helping hand.
Every little effort matters.
It’s not about what you can gain from life; it’s about what you can contribute.
When we concentrate on making a difference, we unlock a profound sense of purpose and happiness that material wealth can never provide.
"True fulfillment isn’t found in what we receive, but in what we give. Your greatest legacy is the impact you make on others." – Tony Robbins
Starting today, seek out one way to positively influence someone’s life.
Share your time, your knowledge, your resources—whatever you can.
In doing so, you’ll find that the journey to true fulfillment is paved with acts of kindness and generosity.
