Did you attend the WIMBIZ annual conference last week?

Words alone cannot fully capture the essence of the experience we shared. We had the largest, most inspiring and engaging conference.

I found immense joy in witnessing the smiles of women who gathered from across the nation and around the globe. Many delegates resonated with the discussions, and the feedback we received indicated a strong commitment to pursuing their dreams and taking decisive action.

This highlights the significance of the daily actions we undertake. The delegates chose to be present at the conference. The business pitchers took the initiative to apply, resulting in grants of up to N5 million naira.

The exhibitors actively engaged and achieved substantial sales over the two days. Even the virtual attendees took action by interacting with speakers despite being miles apart.

As our conference chairperson, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, aptly stated, “many women are held back because of fear,… we are afraid to dream, dare, and do.”

Do not allow fear to hinder your ability to take action.

Instead of merely dreaming, take action. Even the divine, who possesses everything in abundance, encourages us to “ask” and it shall be given, “seek” and you will find, “knock” and it will be opened.

Opportunities will not always come to you; proactive steps are necessary.

Even if your actions do not yield the desired results, simply remove them from your to-do list and move forward.

Wishing you a week filled with action and achievement.
